Meet Mark
Mark A. Rudolph, MD
Coach
Dr. Mark Rudolph is a physician coach and experienced healthcare leader who has spent his career focused on helping physicians navigate the real challenges of leadership—communication breakdowns, team dynamics, and the pressure of leading in complex systems. As a board-certified internal medicine hospitalist, he brings a deep understanding of the clinical and organizational realities that shape their work.
Mark previously served as Chief Experience Officer for Sound Physicians, a national multi-specialty practice with more than 4,000 clinicians across 350 hospitals in 42 states. There, hiswork focused on clinician well-being, leadership development, and organizational culture. He also served as Chief Medical Officer, overseeing clinical operations and professional development across multiple states, an experience that exposed him to a wide range of hospital leadership teams and the patterns that drive both effectiveness and breakdown in complex healthcare environments.
He is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BA, Economics), earned his MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and completed his internal medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Campus. Mark also served as Chief Medical Resident at New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. He received his coaching certification through the highly respected NeuroLeadership Institute.
Today, Mark works with hospitals, medical groups, and individual clinicians to address the interpersonal, behavioral, and leadership challenges that impact performance, reputation, and career trajectory. His coaching is practical, direct, and focused on helping physicians strengthen how they show up when the stakes are high.
Mark lives in Seattle, Washington where he enjoys cycling, being on the water and woodworking as well as spending time with his family and friends.
